PlantPal Version 2025.5

Greetings, plant parents! Version 2025.4 brings you iOS Photo Library integration, a major upgrade in the works for months. Here’s what it means to you:

* When you add a new photo, it will be sourced from your iOS Photo Library. PlantPal only saves a photo identifier.

* The PlantPal app will take up less storage space on your device and in iCloud (if you have iCloud sync enabled).

* When you edit the photo of you plant — applying filters, adding annotations — those changes will reflect in PlantPal, too.

You can also migrate your existing in-app photos to your iOS Photo Library.

Also fixed in the version:

* You might not be able to update the cover photo of your plants on iPad. Fixed.

* Improved: when you take a photo in the app with your camera, the photo now contains full EXIF information.

* Some widgets and app UI elements were not properly localized. Fixed.

* The app might crash if launched from a widget. Fixed.
